Colorize

Start with an image you want to colorize:

Now, go to Colors --> Colorize (or Shift + L)

This window will pop up:

HUE is the color and SATURATION is the intensity. It goes from 0 to 255 in each.

This is what the colors mean in HUE:
0-red
25-orange
40-yellow
70-green
120-teal
150-blue
200-purple
230-pink
255-red

In SATURATION 255 means crazy bright and 0 means extremely dim. I usually stick to around 150. Play around with that to find what exact intensity of the color you like. Also, play around with the colors. Maybe you want a certain shade and not the main color, so for example you might like 212 better than 200 for purple.

See, now it's prettyful :)
