Taking Screenshots
A screen shot is a picture of what your monitor display looks like. Basically, this is what you see on your computer screen. People with webpages use this to show what past layouts looked like or what their desktop looks like. This is actually pretty simple. All you need is a paint program, or some picture editor. First, make sure you minimize everything except the thing you want to take a screen shot of. Let's take an example, your desktop. Then you have to minimize everything so you view only your desktop and icons. Next, you find the PRINT SCREEN button on your keyboard. This is usually on the top row where the numbers are, over to the right of the keyboard. When you're ready to take your shot, just press the PRINT SCREEN key. The next part is to open a paint program and paste as new image. Basically PASTE is all you need. Then you have your screen shot. You can now edit it, make it smaller, crop out all the not needed images around what you took a screen shot of, etc. Then save it and use it for whatever you need to. See that wasn't so hard.
