Fading Links

The horizontally fading links effect is a nifty css effect. Download the linkhilight.htc file. You will need this to be uploaded in any directory you use this css effect. This effect only works in Internet Explorer.

Now, use the following code for your link css code.

A:link{color:#COLOR1; text-decoration:none; font-weight:normal; height:1px; behavior:url(linkhilight.htc); filter:progid:dximagetransform.microsoft.gradientwipe(duration=1);} A:visited{color:#COLOR; text-decoration:none; font-weight:normal;} A:active{color:#COLOR; text-decoration:none; font-weight:normal;} A:hover{color:#COLOR2; text-decoration:none; font-weight:normal;}

Basically update your css A:link part with

height:1px; behavior:url(linkhilight.htc); filter:progid:dximagetransform.microsoft.gradientwipe(duration=1);

Just remember to have a DIFFERENT color for hover and link, so it can have something to change to.
