Corny fall tradition with hubby

Fall is my favorite time of the year. The leaves are changing and the colors are just beautiful. Every year my husband and I drive up to green mountain to see all the pretty colors. We started the tradition the first year we were married. We thought it would be a wonderful way to remember our engagement and celebrate our marriage. I know it probably sounds corny and I will admit it probably is. However, it has become something we look forward to every year. It doesn’t take long to drive up there and it is always breath-taking. I am sure a year will come when we don’t make it, but for now it is a great tradition. As we walk by the spot where my husband purposed, I always get chill bumps. It is not because I am or was scared, but because I know how much better our lives get every year. We truly are lucky to have one another. As we drove home this year, I couldn’t help but find myself looking forward to another great year.
