Spring is my favorite season. It’s just so lovely. To me, other than my birthday, which is in 13 days(!!), it’s also a relief from winter. Even though this winter in south east Texas has not been bad for me at all, it’s not been all that cold and with the evergreens it’s not been as depressing, spring still tells me the winter is over and it will be a while before it comes back. Plus, everything is just so pretty. The flowers get so colorful and beautiful. The birds sing. It’s just the best.

Here are some pictures of the beautiful nature spring gives us. These were taken outside of the Alamo in San Antonio this past weekend. I went to a conference in SA and part of it included some sightseeing. More on that soon. The drive was beautiful as well because of the wildflowers, but I obviously wasn’t able to take photos of them since I was driving.
