The End of NaBloPoMo
So today is the last day of NaBloPoMo. How was it? Well, I did it! I managed to post a new blog each day. How did I do this? I just wrote some blogs in advance and then posted them for each date. I can’t sit on the computer coming up with ideas daily, and I also didn’t want to let good ideas for things to share disappear by not typing them out and saving them for later. Good ole wordpress posted them for me on the correct dates and times. I must say though, I’m not as impressed by the project as I thought I would be. Sure, I met some new people, but I didn’t really make a lot of blogging friends. Few people return comments nowadays and it’s hard to make friends when that’s how they react.
Too, most of my readers didn’t keep up with me this month so they missed out on some good Julie time. Even my subscribers missed many posts. Quite sad really, when you try so hard and some efforts go unnoticed. Will I keep up with blogging daily? Nope. That’s just too often. But, I will make an effort to keep up with blogging more often. Instead of one long blog every week and a half, I’ll post shorter blogs a few times a week. Life allowing. How does that sound? Do my readers think they can keep up with that better?
I do have a request from you readers to help me blog better. Can you please look over the posts this month and let me know what you liked, didn’t like, etc? What types of topics did you think were good Julie blogs? Were any boring or felt like random fillers just to post an entry (hopefully not the case, though some were randomer than others)? Any blogs you felt I didn’t go into enough detail on? Let me know, I’d love to learn how to improve my blogging and make you wonderful readers come back again and again.
