This weekend was quite busy, so here we go.

Friday was a friend’s birthday dinner. We went to a place called Gay Nineties Pizza, which has a silly name but has the best pizza in the area. That was really nice, got to hang out with some friends and eat great pizza with wine. Yea nice wine with pizza, what a silly combination heh. Fun though.

Saturday was our Dave & Busters evening. Actually, turn out was really bad. Three of his friends came and one of mine. My “sister” heh, so as soon as she showed up I grabbed her and ditched them. I had sooo much fun with her. It’s great being able to hang out with her without her child, as sad as that sounds, but really a 5 year old makes it hard to do stuff. We played some shooting games and air hockey and basketball games and then found this spinner game where we were able to get tons of tickets. We ended up with over two thousand tickets that night. So we got some good prizes like two sets of martini glasses and shot glasses each (we called it the “sister” package) and she even got some toys for her daughter. We also decided we wanted dessert and shared an ice cream sundae and cheesecake. MMM. Fun fun. What ended up happening is my fiance and I also drove one of his friends down to D&B. Well at about 10pm when my “sister” and I finished our desserts and recharged our cards, we found my fiance and his friend had already cashed out their tickets. Wtf lol. So I’m like fine I’ll stay with my “sister” and you can go home early. She’ll drive me back and you can pick me up. Another of my friends showed up at about 11pm when we were leaving D&B. They wouldn’t let them in cause her fiance’s driver’s license had expired and he just renewed it but didn’t have the actual new card yet. So we just hung out at the nearby theater cafe and chatted. She gave me a card and a gift card to Home Depot, she’s so nice hehe. Then when we left and went back to my “sister’s” place, we put our new martini glasses to use cause she made us drinks. Then my fiance came to pick me up and drive me home, which was at almost 3am. That was a fun night.

Sunday we hung out with a couple that he’s friends with for a little while, mostly the day was spent packing my car so he can take it and doing last minute stuff. Turns out we might be slightly screwed by this moving company. See, they say they can’t promise a delivery date, but they did. They told us they’d be there estimated by May 30 and when asked what the latest can be he said June 2 since his flight is that evening and he was told that is no problem. Now they’re saying they probably can’t make it till after June 4th, and again his flight back is on the 2nd. So he told them to put it for immediate delivery and hopefully they’ll get it there on a sooner truck. If not, he’ll have to make friends with the neighbors and leave them a key or if that doesn’t work, his cousin is serving in the Army at Fort Hood about 3.5 hours drive one way from where we are near Houston, and he said he’s willing to drive over there and let the movers in if we need him. So it will suck but at least we have options. But while he’s there this week he can at least fix up the place and do any painting and cleaning that’s needed if he doesn’t get to unpack our boxes. *shakes head*

Today (Monday) my parents and I went to Calistoga. The mineral pools are really relaxing and I finally got to warm up and relax. Life’s been stressful as you can understand. I got a bit of a tan too hehe so no more pasty whiteness.

This week coming up is my last week at work. And I’m carless since he’s driving it to our house so I’ll be getting rides from my parnets. I’m taking 5 weeks off to get married and move to our Houston office, where I start on July 9. It’s fast approaching this monstrous change in my life heh.
