Okie dokie so we made it to Alcatraz on Friday since we had tickets in advance. It was a really neat place. You know, it’s weird how you live somewhere practically all your life but don’t get to see much in thet way of atractions because you are too busy living lol. Here are the pics I took. The first half is full of out of focus pics cause I didn’t know how to use the new camera dad let me borrow properly and it was on a bad setting. The rest are ok. You get the idea. My bf’s been there 3 times already but that’s because they took visiting family from Florida out to see it. It’s a big thing for them cause the only ones to escape successfully were three men (two brothers from FL and their friend). They never found their bodies so they can’t say if they survived after escaping or not. But it’s a cool factor for his family since they’re from FL too. The jail had the most beautiful view of SF though, the city and the bridges looked so beautiful. I don’t think my camera captured that too well.

Ok, now onto a shoe rant. Why is it that no matter what shoes I try to get, something always hurts? Either the leather stuff rubs my toesies till they blister and bleed or the underside is too tough and my underfeet toe area hurts like crap and I can’t stand or walk. Where can I find some (affordable) decent shoes I can wear to work or wear out w/o pain? Or should I just buy stock in the band-aid company?

Bleh, fall quarter starts Thursday. What a short break. Heh.
