We HAVE A/C!!! Friday they finished all their construction and turned our A/C back on. I came back friday evening after a long day at the lab with my team working on our project, and damn did it feels good to turn that baby on. No more hot nights struggling to fall alseep, no more bam bam bam at 7 in the morning. Whee. Maybe some of the stress I’ve been having will go away now that I can sleep well.

On even happier news, my bf called!! They got back from the feild and he called me the first opportunity he got. Now I’m happy again cause it’s when I don’t hear from him that I get all crazy. The last letter I wrote him, I included some of those feelings that have been buggin me. He told me that he’ll always love me more than I could ever love him cause that’s just the way the both of us are, and that doesn’t make me a bad girlfriend just because my feelings for him aren’t that strong. He’ll be back home Monday night so after I finish with my oral presentation I can finally see him again and we’ll work on this little bug. Whether or not I understand what my feelings for him really are, all I know is we’re going on 5 years now and we have a very strong bond. He’s my best friend and one of the few people who really understands me. Stress makes you do weird things and think weird things, and maybe when this session is over and before the next one starts (a weekend) I’ll be relaxed and we can work on this.

So my final for this session ins Aug 3, Wed. It’s an oral presentation with our group about the 4th experiment. Right now we’re just working on the analysis. Once we figure out everythin we need, then we can work on the powerpoint presentation and work on what we’re gonna say. Gah that’s so scary. At least it’s only to the prof and the TA’s and not to the whole class, but still, I’ve never given a presentation like that.
